To take part in a reconnaissance trip with
Saharatravel, you will need to be an experienced offroader with
a capable vehicle, be into the outdoors, have a certain degree
of independence and be un-fussed about surprises.
Your vehicle needs to be well serviced and equipped with
recovery gear, strong and durable tires, a large fuel and water
carrying capacity and you should also be able to occasionally
look after the catering yourself.
For every recce we have a proposed itinerary, however, this
being a reconnaissance trip, the itinerary might have to be
altered or changed. We might not be able to visit all the
regions as planned and sometimes we might get stuck in a
particular spot for a couple of days. All this should leave you
pretty untouched - quite the opposite actually, with the right
attitude it'll be part of the experience of venturing into the
unknown.
Our reconnaissance trips are keenly priced and the number of
participating vehicles is limited to six. Those trips are very
popular and we advise booking early.
