What was known as Form E111 is now called the European Health Insurance Card or EHIC. UK residents may apply for an EHIC online by visitng www.dh.gov.uk/travellers (delivery within 7 days), by phoning the EHIC Application Line on 0845 606 2030 (delivery within 10 days), or by post - pick up an EHIC ApplicationPack from the Post Office (delivery within 21 days).

Note: Although the EHIC is only valid in the 25 countries that comprise the European Union, plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway & Switzerland, we would advise to apply for one for your journey.
